A short guide to living comfortably in the apartment — networks, climate, the television and the kitchen, all in one place.
The six things tenants reach for most often. Each card links to the relevant section below.
Both networks reach every room. Use the Fastweb line for anything that streams; the mesh handles everyday browsing and smart-home devices with automatic roaming.
Fastweb router (AX1800), located in the living room. Best for streaming, video calls, and any high-bandwidth activity.
Mesh access points (1 Gbit/s) distributed across the rooms. Use this for everyday browsing and smart-home devices; your phone will roam automatically as you move through the apartment.
Two systems work together: a Clivet VRF heat pump for the rooms and a Rinnai gas boiler for the taps. The thermostats on the walls control the zones; nothing else needs to be touched day-to-day.

An 85-inch ULED Mini-LED 4K television running Vidaa OS, with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Three things to know.
The remote wakes the screen with any button; the Vidaa home screen carries Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube pre-installed. Sign in once with your own credentials and the apps will remember you. If a service is missing, the app store sits on the same home screen.
Dolby Atmos is enabled by default and routes through the built-in speakers; the room is small enough that no external soundbar is needed. To adjust the balance, open Settings → Sound from the home screen.
Hands-free voice is available with the wake word, or through the microphone button on the remote. Hold the button and ask for a title, an app, or a setting.
An Amazon Echo Dot (5th gen) is installed for voice control of the lights, the bathroom underfloor heating, and a few other smart-home devices.
Say "Alexa," then the command. Wait for the chime.
